ABOUT ME
Light is usually where I begin.
I use light to shape the space of the image, bringing colour, line, surface, form, and geometry into a visual order that reveals the subject at its most expressive. I then align this structure with the concept behind the image.
APPROACH
I craft a visual narrative for each subject, shaped by its character and purpose.
THE PRACTICE
A visual language shaped through practice and study.
Through years of practice and study, I have developed a visual language rooted in the way I see, interpret, and photograph a subject. It shapes the choices I make and allows me to translate what I understand about the subject—and what needs to be communicated—into visual form.

background
I am a Berlin-based photographer working professionally since 2007.
My work moves between people, objects, and spaces. I approach each project differently, looking for a way of photographing the subject that feels specific to it rather than repeating the same visual formula.
